TASK
To hold a raffle of prizes from the Portmone payment service (cars and three game consoles) with online broadcast on social media.
ALGORITHM OF ACTIONS

Initially, the company did not plan to hold a raffle on a large scale. It was supposed to be just an online screencast and a random draw. But, taking into account the value of the prize, we offered to organize everything at the highest level — with good equipment for a quality television image, the presence of hosts who could communicate with the audience. We prepared the script and were responsible for the turnkey online broadcast.

Working on the script, we wrote down the dialogues of the presenters. In parallel, our designer was preparing a graphics package: a screen saver, titles, logos — all these materials were needed for the live broadcast. The entire graphics package was agreed on with the client in advance. And then the materials were handed over to the group that provided the online broadcast.

A few days before the event, we visited the location (a car showroom) where the raffle was planned. There, we took a series of pictures of the location itself for the video engineers to decide in advance how best to place the prizes (a car and three game consoles). And also where exactly to install the camera for broadcasting. In addition, it was important to check on the spot whether the sockets for connecting TV lighting devices work and how they are located, and whether the Internet is fast enough to broadcast the event online.

WORK FEATURES ON EVENT DAY

To check all technical components, the film crew went to the car showroom 4 hours before the broadcast. Two hours later, the presenters were there to hold a rehearsal. It was particularly important to synchronize the work of the presenters and the specialist who was responsible for the random draw — as everything was happening live. The viewer saw the picture of the draw itself, and the random draw data was also displayed on the screen. Therefore, technically, we organized it like this: a random draw was started, a number was drawn, and it was reported to the presenters. And the presenters announced the number live on air. Each unique number contained information about one user. After all, we started exactly at the announced time. And during 20 minutes — all the prizes were drawn.

RESULT

1,300 people watched the online broadcast of the draw on the Internet. This drew attention to the client's social networks. And thanks to the fact that we provide such services turnkey, the client saved the budget. The company did not have to hire each specialist separately: the host, camera crew, broadcast team, etc.
