Task
To cover in the national and regional media the results of the charity project to rescue homeless animals in winter.
The agency was invited to provide media support for the charity initiative Holidays with a Tail of the EVA store line and the Happy Paw charity foundation.
The project to warm dogs and cats in shelters lasted throughout November and December. We joined in at the end of the project when it was time to share the results of the work.
Anyone could help the shelters by transferring money at the cash desks of EVA stores or at a special website. As a result, the organizers managed to raise twice as much as they expected — more than UAH 2 million. These funds were used to buy firewood, fuel briquettes, heaters, mats, and kennels for 74 shelters in different regions. In this way, thousands of four-legged animals were warmed and helped to survive the winter.
And we told about the project on the pages of national media, social networks, and regional Telegram channels.
Before publishing the materials, the agency's communications specialists drew up and approved a media map with the client. After that, the writers prepared two long-form stories for Ukrainska Pravda and UNN, as well as news for 15 Telegram channels. Each news item was adapted to the region and contained localized information about the assistance to the four-legged residents of local shelters.
The cooperation with the EVA store line and the Happy Paw charity foundation resulted in about 20 informational materials with total views exceeding 300,000.
